[custom_html] The 203-7023 Bissell Inner and Outer filter assembly is designed to provide you maximum performance from your vacuum cleaner. The outer foam filter can be washed using warm water and a mild detergent. The inner pleated filter is not washable. To replace these filters remove the dirt cup and grasp the lower tank located at the bottom of the dirt cup that was just removed. Twist the lower tank to the unlock position. The filters are now accessible and they twist to unlock. Pull them straight up to release them from the vacuum. The filters can be separated if you wish to wash the outer filter.
