This exceptionally rare ASA 682 Automatic storm lantern is a true collector’s item. It comes New Old Stock (NOS) in its original case, complete with two spare glasses and the original instruction manual. The tank interior is still pristine, confirming it has never been used. For preservation, the lamp has only been fitted with a wick and not lit.

Unlike the more common Feuerhand or Rhewum cases, an ASA 682 in its original box is extremely rare. What makes this model special is its automatic mechanism: when you tilt the carrying handle backward, the chimney lifts and the glass swings open—a brilliant and fully functional design.

Key Features:

  • Condition:

    • Three glasses: red (unmarked), yellow and clear (both Feuerhand, same size as ASA).

This lantern is an extraordinary addition to any collection and a rare piece of German engineering history, perfect for collectors of military or vintage lighting.
