Simply - Ginger Beer - 40 Pint Beer Kit

Simply Ginger Beer Kit is a malty ginger beer that has gentle malt flavours, these enhance the unmistakable flavours and aromas of ginger.  With a gentle sweetness that balances our the fieriness of the ginger.   Serve this chilled over ice for a refreshing summer drink.

Although the packaging and the name make this look like a basic kit, there is actually a lot of flavour in this Simply Bitter beer kit. It has 1.8kg of liquid malt extract which is equivalent to one of the large can beer kits. Use it to make 40 pints of Simply Ginger Beer.

Follow the simple instructions and in around 10 days you'll be able to barrel or bottle 40 pints of Simply Ginger Beer.  This ginger beer will be approx 5% abv.

This kit has 1.8kg of malt extract in the pouch and the sachet of yeast is stuck to the bottom of the pouch.

This kit will also require one of the following:
a - 1kg of Brewing Sugar (supermarket sugar will work, but it will cause the finished beer to be sweet)
Or
b - 1kg of Beer Enhancer.  A mixture of brewing sugar and light spraymalt.  This will give the finished beer a good body and mouth feel.
Or
c - 1.2kg of Liquid Malt Extract.  This will give the best finished beer with a smooth body, full flavour and good head retention.
Or
d - Use a different flavour of Liquid Malt Extract to further enhance your beer kit and enable you to create your own unique beers.
Or
e - Use a cider kit to make a Ginger Cider. No need add extra sugar

You will also need basic brewing equipment such as: a 23 litre bucket; syphon; steriliser; thermometer & hydrometer to brew this ingredient kit.  If you do not have any equipment we have a starter package with all the equipment you will need to make this beer.  We also have bottles and barrels for you to store your beer once it has been made.
