It is important to ensure that all reptiles, and amphibians are provided with the correct heating and lighting equipment for optimum health and development.  The Reptile Systems T5 2.4% UVB Zone 1 lamp offers high output 2.4% UVB for the synthesis of vitamin D3, and with a huge 30% UVA it produces excellent natural colors for your animals and enclosure.  For best results use with a T5 fixture or electronic controller and replace after one year of normal use. This lamp will only operate when used with equipment containing an appropriate T5 electronic ballast.  If you add an optional T5 reflector to this lamp you can expect up to double the light output and twice the UVB output.
