Wilderness Systems Supplemental Rudder Kit

This hardware kit is designed to extend and reconfigure the rudder control system on compatible tandem recreational kayaks, allowing the rudder to be operated from a centred solo paddling position rather than the stern seat. It's a practical solution for paddlers who use their tandem kayak solo on a regular basis and want proper foot control without improvising a setup. The kit includes extension straps and extra foot braces, with all necessary hardware and installation instructions included in the box.

It's worth noting this kit is intended as a supplemental addition to either the Wilderness Systems Roto Kayak rudder kit or the Wilderness Systems and Perception Rudder Ready Kayak kit, both sold separately. It is compatible with 2013 and earlier tandem recreational kayaks from the supported model list below.
